Rejuva Sole fit note: Tammy has not personally worn the Orthofeet Vito. This men’s hands-free slipper has a closed heel, a warm faux-fur lining and a suede upper for home use and short everyday outings. The exact fit still matters more than the hands-free label.

What to check

Orthofeet lists multiple widths, optional Arch Booster and fitting spacers for this model; check the exact color, size and width at the retailer. Try it indoors with your usual socks or orthotic, then check heel hold, toe room, lining pressure and traction on your own floors. Warm lining may be too hot for some feet, and suede may be less forgiving as swelling changes.

Tradeoffs

This is a structured slipper, not a lightweight summer shoe or a substitute for prescribed footwear. Orthofeet lists a 16.5 mm heel-to-toe drop, which may feel too elevated for shoppers used to flatter shoes. The water-repellent upper is not waterproof. Test stability before taking it outdoors; no slipper prevents every slip or fall.
