Width and fit

Orthofeet’s black Verno page showed Medium (D), Wide (2E) and X-Wide (4E) when checked September 27, 2026. The page did not show 6E. Availability can vary by color, size and stock, so confirm your selection before ordering. A 4E label does not guarantee enough room for swelling, an orthotic or a brace.

Try the boot indoors with your usual socks and insert. Check toe room, heel hold, ankle and instep pressure, and how steady the outsole feels on your floors. Orthofeet includes an Arch Booster and fitting spacers, but substantial swelling or a bulky brace may call for another fit.

Tradeoffs

Leather is warmer and less flexible than a knit walking shoe. This is an everyday boot, not a waterproof work boot. Slip-resistant does not mean slip-proof. Check the exact retailer listing and return terms before committing.
