Rejuva Sole fit note: Tammy has not personally tested the Orthofeet Charlotte. This is a research-based look at the women’s adjustable, faux-fur-lined house slipper. Its open back has a low heel lip, so try it indoors and check whether your heel stays put. It is not an enclosed walking shoe.

Width and fit

Orthofeet’s gray Charlotte listing showed women’s Medium (B), Wide (D) and X-Wide (2E) when checked September 27, 2026. Choices can vary by color, size and stock. The adjustable side strap opens wide, and the supplied insole can be removed; a thick custom orthotic may still crowd the lining or lift your heel above the lip. Check the exact pair with your usual socks and insert.

Tradeoffs

The warm lining may be too hot for some feet. The low heel lip and rocker-inspired sole deserve extra care if you shuffle, have reduced sensation, use a brace, or need strong rearfoot control. Orthofeet positions Charlotte mainly as a house slipper; its product page does not give an independent slip-resistance rating. For wet floors, stairs or outdoor walking, consider an enclosed shoe with verified traction. Do not assume an AFO or bulky brace will fit safely.
