RESEARCH-REVIEWED PLUSH NEUTRAL
Rejuva Sole recommendation: The New Balance Men’s Fresh Foam X 1080v14 offers extra-soft cushioning, a broad heel, a breathable upper, and a pronounced rocker for walking, easy running, and long days on the feet.
Verdict: A plush option for men who already know they feel secure in a tall, rockered neutral shoe.
Best for: Neutral walkers and runners who want soft cushioning for easy miles and long days.
Watch out: The toe shape tapers near the big toe. The pronounced rocker, soft foam, tall stack, and roughly 10-ounce weight may reduce toe clearance or ground feedback for people who shuffle or have balance loss.
Cushioning: Plush, high-stack Fresh Foam X
Stability: Neutral, with raised sidewalls and a broad heel; no motion-control system
Heel-to-toe drop: 6 mm listed by New Balance
Fit note: A removable insole does not establish AFO compatibility. Verify the Amazon seller, selected size and width, condition, and return terms. New Balance’s official v14 page was sold out when Tammy checked on August 31, 2026; availability may have changed.
